# Market Communication API

> The endpoints for schedules and allocations, grouped by process.

One API for what you exchange with each electricity market. The [Market Communication docs](https://docs.engrate.io/market-communication/overview.md) explain the model behind these endpoints.

| Group | What it covers | Stability |
| - | - | - |
| Schedules | Declare the series of a delivery day, follow each revision, and read the match status and confirmation of each series | Stable. Series state and match reports are alpha. |
| Reference data | Exchange priority of German balance groups | Stable |
| Allocations | Energy allocated per accounting point, and aggregate allocations | Alpha |

All endpoints take your organization's API key in the `authorization` header. See [Authentication](https://docs.engrate.io/guides/authentication.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> The API calls a revision of a schedule a version: [List Schedule Versions](https://docs.engrate.io/api-reference/schedules/list-schedule-versions.md), `version_number` and `version_uid`. See [Revisions](https://docs.engrate.io/market-communication/schedules/revisions.md).

Supplier switches and accounting points are not in this reference yet. [Contact us](mailto:hello@engrate.io) for access to these endpoints.
