# Confirmed schedules

> The values that the Scheduling Area Responsible uses for your schedules

Confirmed schedules give the values that the Scheduling Area Responsible uses for your schedules, across delivery days.
Use them to check an imbalance invoice against the values that settlement uses, or to compare a schedule with your allocations.

This is an alpha API. It may change without notice.

## Series

A confirmed schedule series is one series of your schedules in the scheduling area of the schedule, across delivery days.
Its `series_id` stays the same on each delivery day.
An external series is in the schedules of both its scheduling areas, and the Scheduling Area Responsible of each area confirms it separately.
Thus it is a different series in each area.

[List Confirmed Schedule Series](https://docs.engrate.io/api-reference/timeseries/list-confirmed-schedule-series.md) gives each series with its kind, areas and parties.

## One record for each settlement period

[List Confirmed Schedules](https://docs.engrate.io/api-reference/timeseries/list-confirmed-schedules.md) gives a list of records in `values`.
Each record is one point of a series: the confirmation for one settlement period.
There is at most one record for each series and settlement period, with the confirmation that is in force.

| `kind` | The Scheduling Area Responsible | `volume_wh` |
| - | - | - |
| `confirmed` | uses your value. | The value |
| `modified` | uses a different value. | The value it uses |
| `imposed` | sets a value for a series or a period that you did not send. | The value it sets |
| `rejected` | rejected the series, and uses no value of it. | `null` |

A settlement period without a record has no confirmation that Engrate has recorded.

`volume_wh` is the energy over the settlement period in Wh.

## Finality

`finality` is the confirmation finality.
It is `intermediate` while the confirmation can change, and `final` when settlement uses it.

Use the filter `finality=final` to read only the values that settlement uses.
In the Netherlands, TenneT does not state when a confirmation is final, thus each value there is `intermediate`.

## Range

One request covers at most 32 days, thus a whole calendar month fits in one request.
