The Imbalances API gives the imbalance that the market calculates for your balance groups, for each settlement period. Use it to check an imbalance invoice, or to see how the market adjusted the imbalance for activations of balancing energy. This is an alpha API. It may change without notice.

Series

An imbalance series holds the imbalance of one balance group in one scheduling area, or one adjustment that the market included in it. See Imbalance series for how to tell the series apart. List Imbalance Series gives the series and their dimensions. List Imbalances gives the volumes of the series over a range of settlement periods.

Volumes

Each volume is signed. On a total, a positive volume means that the balance group was long. The market can send more than one volume for one series and settlement period, and the total includes its adjustments. See Imbalance record for how to read the sign, how to get one value for each settlement period, and which volumes you must not add.
