A revision is one submission of a schedule to the Scheduling Area Responsible. The first submission of a delivery day is revision 1. Each later submission gets the next number, with no gaps.
The API calls a revision a version: List Schedule Versions, version_number, version_uid, and the version field of a match report.

When Engrate sends a revision

You do not create revisions yourself. When you post a schedule, Engrate records the series you want. It sends a new revision when those series differ from what the market holds, for example:
  • you changed a value or added a series
  • the market refused or rejected a series, and you sent new values
Every revision of a schedule goes to the market under the same message identifier, with its revision number. The Scheduling Area Responsible quotes both in its answers, so Engrate can tell which revision each answer is about.

Status

The status of a revision is the latest answer from the market about the whole revision. One revision can hold a series that matches and a series that does not. To see the result for each series, read the series state. See Matching.

The active revision

The active revision (is_active: true) is the last revision that the Scheduling Area Responsible accepted. It is the one the market holds as binding, and the one whose values the confirmations can still change. A rejected or unanswered revision never becomes active. If the market rejects revision 3, revision 2 stays active, and its values stay in force.
